For as long as he can remember Charles has never been happier than when he has a pencil and a piece of paper in his hands. His ever observant eye has resulted in a fairly constant stream of sketches, drawings and caricatures, and an ability to make pictorial comments in seconds, with great economy of line, and with humour.
