PAINTINGS

Charles’ aim is to celebrate life. He loves the idea of his work going out into the world and hopefully providing windows of joy in people’s lives. His style is to marry accuracy with artistry but without it ever appearing too contrived.

‘I like to feel that my paintings are a celebration of life, of colour and of light. I try to pay homage to the traditional skills of painting,

and hope to combine accuracy with whatever artistic gift I have’.

Paintings are mostly oil on board or canvas; a few are acrylic. All sizes given are unframed.
